performing again after a year of trying to write my way out of a dark place was like a shot of adrenalin plunged directly into my heart. thank you to everyone who came to the House of Miracles last Thursday, and braved the heat, and made the night what it was. and of course to Andy, for setting up such a cozy and welcoming space.
grateful and excited to have the Home County Music & Art Festival approaching on Saturday, July 26th – have been (re-)immersed in the astounding music of OMBIIGIZI over the past weeks, whose songs have kept me company over the years in all sorts of far-flung places, and am honoured to be sharing a stage with them, Bedouin Soundclash, Sister Ray, Fraser Teeple, and many more.
